Role Description & Responsibilities
Our Dassault Systèmes NAM IPC Tech Sales Team is thrilled to announce a hybrid internship opportunity at our Montréal office!
Join our IPC Tech Team, where we’re actively collaborating with cities and public sector organizations to build smarter, more sustainable urban environments. Our mission? To address challenges like climate change by institutionalizing urban referential twins—digital representations that support smarter decision-making, better collaboration, and more positive public sentiment around urban and industrial development.
We are currently exploring multiple city-based projects, including: Many industrial projects face public skepticism—especially in urban areas. A well-developed urban referential can shift perceptions, foster collaboration, and enhance transparency in city planning and development.
As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to:
· Collaborate with customers and stakeholders on real-world projects
· Work cross-functionally with Dassault Systèmes teams for technical and strategic support
· Assess project needs and identify value streams to optimize the urban referential
· Help build an integrated, data-rich urban model that accurately represents the city
· Analyze a region’s capacity to support future population growth—housing, services, and space
· Propose transportation solutions that reduce GHG emissions, traffic, and pollution, improving public health and quality of life

Qualifications
Soft Skills
· Excellent Communication Skills: Must interact with cities and public entities to collect data.
· Ability to Explain and Simplify Concepts: Must be able to communicate digital twin concepts to stakeholders in an accessible way.
· Autonomy and Proactiveness: Ability to take initiative and work without constant supervision.
· Adaptability: Must quickly learn new technologies (digital twins) and adapt to different interlocutors.
· Organization and Attention to Detail: Handling large and sensitive data requires precision and structuring.
· Analytical Thinking and Problem-Solving: Ability to structure data and find solutions to encountered challenges.
· Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams (urban planners, engineers, municipalities).
Technical Skills
· Data Collection and Management: Ability to collect, structure, and organize urban data from various sources.
· GIS (Geographic Information Systems): Basic knowledge of GIS tools (ArcGIS, QGIS) for mapping and spatial data analysis.
· Urban Modeling and BIM (optional): Familiarity with 3D modeling and BIM concepts (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD) would be an asset.
In addition to working with your direct team, as a member of Dassault Systemes NAM Intern Program you will be invited to our Speaker Series, Lunch and Learns, Networking Events and employee functions.

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $21 – $26 per hour.
