Job Description & Role Responsibilities:

As a Career & Performance Partner, we:

  • Collaborate with managers and employees on HR matters, focusing on performance improvement, coaching, and career development.
  • Provide coaching and support in performance improvement plans (PIPs), ensuring effective implementation and monitoring.
  • Coach new managers on effective management processes and team performance strategies.
  • Partner with Organization & Business Partners, as well as GEO People & Organization Partners, on career development, performance, and retention initiatives aligned with the People Master Plan.
  • Work with managers and employees to identify skills gaps and performance issues, implementing development initiatives in collaboration with Learn & Grow.
  • Support career development by helping employees and managers define and execute actionable career plans, including onboarding and offboarding procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Employment & HR Compliance / Labor Relations knowledge, including applicable laws and best practices.
  • User Success Engineering experience, with a focus on employee and manager engagement.
  • Learning Experience Support expertise to guide effective learning programs.
  • Strong listening and questioning skills to understand employee needs and challenges.
  • Ability to give constructive feedback to improve employee performance and development.
  • Career consulting skills, advising on career growth and development strategies.
  • Ability to manage stress and conflict within organizations and support employees in resolving issues.
