Realtime Module

The Simpack Realtime (RT) module enables real-time simulations without the need to export and compile a model for a specific target platform. Simpack RT supports nearly all modeling elements of Simpack, comes with real-time Animation and Logging capabilities, and runs on all RT enabled Linux systems.
It can perform submillisecond real-time simulations of complex multi-body models. Users can view the results directly using the included RT Animation. It is also possible to capture the real-time simulation results using the RT Logger for offline post-processing, or to replay the animation.
Simpack Realtime is an add-on module, which enables the use of detailed models for a wide range of real-time applications, for example Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SiL). Pre-existing Simpack models can be used directly within real-time applications without the need for model reduction, code generation and compilation or pregeneration of look-up tables.

Realtime enables Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Man-in-the-Loop (MiL) Simulations with Simpack models. Realtime supports most Simpack modeling elements and can include even complex models in submillisecond real-time simulations.
