As the Business Development Representative Manager, you are responsible for the management of overall inbound business development and outbound prospecting pipeline building strategy and execution by leading 30 Business Development Representatives. You’ll work closely with Marketing and Sales leadership to devise the best tactics to increase demand generation and set weekly and monthly KPIs. This is a highly strategic role where you’re able to have control over business decisions for the most important aspect of our inbound and outbound prospecting pipeline build.

 

The Business Development Representative Manager will contribute to the pipeline and revenue of the Europe GEO Group by managing multiple teams including inbound and outbound business development representatives. The teams in Europe engage with prospects and customers in order to generate high quality leads from specific target initiatives, Marketing Driven inbound contacts or within restricted account lists through cold and warm calling activities.

 

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • Lead the Business Developer Organisation in the Business Development HUB based in Barcelona, supporting the management of leads and creation of opportunity pipeline for all customer engagement models.
  • Drive best in class performance across the BDRs ensuring success metrics are delivered and further developed to build a strong lead management and opportunity pipeline creation machine.
  • Ensure execution excellence through the successful delivery of the qualified lead and opportunity pipeline annual targets and SLAs for each of the 4 x GEOs in Europe, EWEST, ENORTH, ECAL and EMED.
  • Ensure Team collectively meet the Acceptance % rate Target and that they consistently meet and operate under the lead routing process and TAT detailed in the Corporate OLA Procedures document owned by Global GSO.
  • Build and continue to strengthen the GEO Interlock between each GEO working closely with Geo GMLs, GEO Business Planners, Customer Engagement model leaders and Brands.  Ensure Forward planning and execution of all outbound campaigns are delivered according to the BDR Corporate governance process and each GEO BDR SLA, working closely with Global BDR Director and HUB Director on all escalation points.
  • Ensure ongoing transformation and improvement of BDR performance metrics and identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • Take proactive measures to address performance gaps and challenges within the BDR Inbound and Outbound Teams, thereby ensuring the BDR Team remain on track to deliver annual targets.
  • Work closely with Global BDH Learning team and Global BDR Director to provide input and development of training material to be utilized to onboard all new hires and ensure the wider team continue to develop through role, industry and brand certifications. 
  • Ensure all team members are utilizing My Journey, encouraging all BDRs and Managers to implement learning and career-based plan within the company, foster an environment of constant learning and evolution "Workforce of the future" mentality. 
  • Process and Tools - ensure the team use HubSpot reporting (mandatory tool for suspect management) ensuring they have sufficient training to use all systems and tools.

 

 

 

 

   

Qualifications

Education requirement: Degree/Master Degree

Business Development or Telemarketing:  5+ years’ experience in Inside Sales/Telemarketing/Business Development/Operation in Software Solutions environment

  • Experience building and tracking KPIs to ensure lead target achievement
  • Consistent record of quota achievement
  • Proven leadership skills with experience building and growing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated expertise in sales prospecting strategies, including cold and warm calling techniques, processes and measurements
  • Knoweldge of HubSpot
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong skills in analytics and reporting
