TP - SPATIAL Sales Leader, Japan
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Sales Leader, Japan to strengthen our team and drive our sales strategy to the next level.
With more than 35 years of 3D modeling experience and partnerships with over 400+ customers, Spatial (a Dassault Systèmes Company) is uniquely positioned as partner for success for 3D Engineering software development — Spatial’s software development kits combined with a strong technical expertise power some of the most innovative 3D applications in the industry.
Reporting directly to the Sales Director, APAC region for Spatial, the Sales Leader Japan will be responsible for developing and executing the company’s sales strategy. A possible short-term career evolution will consist in managing the local team and achieving revenue target for the assigned territory. He/She will play a pivotal role in leading a growing team of experienced account managers and consultants responsible for customer engagements and the leadership of the Spatial brand in Japn and Korea.
The position offers daily variety and dynamic challenges and is located in Tokyo, Dassault Systèmes KK Osaki office. Willingness to travel to our locations and to our customers in Japan and South Korea is a basic requirement for this.
Responsibilities
- Sales Objectives and Plan: Define, develop and execute effective sales strategies to achieve company objectives. Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Team Management as a possible career evolution: Lead, develop and manage a multicultural sales & technical team to achieve collective excellence and foster a culture of accountability.
- Customers Engagement: Qualify leads and assess engagement level accordingly. Coordinate activities to efficiently use resources, meet business objectives, and adhere to project deadlines. Negotiate and close deals with major clients.
- Account Management: Gain a deep and comprehensive understanding of customers’ challenges in order to convey value, and provide guidance at every stage of the engagement. Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships.
- Business Development: Support sales and marketing activities and work jointly with product management to escalate enhancement requests and new industry trends.
- R&D Collaboration: Align customer needs with internal product development.
Qualifications
- Successfully completed studies in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- At least 5 years of experience in a comparable position
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of the engineering software market and competitive landscape.
- Ability to successfully manage long and complex sales engagement with C-level
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Japanese and ability to communicate with an international team in English
- Proficiency in CRM software
- Experience in CAD, CAM, CAE, EDA, FEA is a plus
- Willingness to travel within Japan and South Korea up to 50%
