In our APAC IT organization, we are looking for a motivated Data Center LAN Specialist who will be working on Data Center/Campus LAN domain at APAC/WW level. You will primarily be part of Asia Pacific Network team and work on different Data Center and Campus build/refresh projects. You will also be performing a set of operational tasks to make sure that we are on top of Data Center LAN Performance across APAC and help business to perform efficiently. We also expect you to be leading/participating in all LAN operations at APAC/WW level and contribute significantly.

 

Role Description & Responsibilities:

                     Work on implementing Arista Universal Cloud Network architecture in our next-generation data centers

                     Work on HLD, LLD and implementation plan for each deployment

                     Make sure that the automation framework designed for DC implementation and operations are well coupled on each of these implementations

                     Define KPIs for DC LAN Performance, create dashboards for them and closely monitor it

                     Work on implementing Cisco Core-Distribution-Access architecture in bigger campuses and remote offices

                     Work on Cisco Wireless implementation

                     Command over automation tools like Ansible, Python etc. to work on the automation framework

                     Work on all DC/Campus/Branch Office LAN and Wi-Fi related support tickets raised across APAC by sticking to the defined pool SLA

                     Document all the changes performed at DC including the rack lay out changes for network devices and keep it up to date

                     Make sure that the firmware version on all DC LAN equipment is matching the globally chosen one

                     If there is any security vulnerability identified on the firmware, upgrade it to the next recommended version

                     Make sure that all DC LAN equipment are onboarded to the monitoring system with the right monitoring template

                     Use the KPI dashboards to predict and preform any required configuration fine tuning

                     Be part of the annual budgeting process to have all the DC / Campus LAN H/W refresh/purchases/maintenance renewal across APAC defined

                     Be part of on call Process across APAC which include being available on phone during the week nights and weekends as per a pre-defined shift roster which will have additional monetary benefits

Qualifications:

                     B.Tech / B.E (CS / IT / E&TC) from premier institutions with good academic track records.

                     10-12 Years of overall industrial experience on corporate DC/Campus LAN deployment projects and operations

                     4-5 Years of hands-on experience in deploying and managing a large-scale corporate Data Center with Arista Leaf-Spine architecture with MP-BGP & VXLAN implemented

                     In depth knowledge and hands on experience on VXLAN, MP-BGP, M-LAG, BGP, VRF concepts in Arista

                     Hands on experience in using Arista Cloud Vision Portal for deploying and managing the switches

                     Hands on experience in upgrading CVP and EOS firmware levels

                     Hands on experience and good knowledge level on Cisco Catalyst 6800,9500,9300 & Nexus 9000 platforms

                     In depth knowledge and hands on experience on VSS, VPC, VRF concepts in Cisco

                     Good understanding of routing concepts

                     Certification - Arista ACE-Level-3 or above will be an added advantage

                     Basic understanding of Ansible, Python, Jenkins, rest API usage etc.

                     Experience in working in an international team

                     Experience on an SLA oriented ticketing tool

                     Strong Problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex routing issues.

                     Adaptability, ability to learn faster, independent, responsible and diligent.

                     Good team spirit and interpersonal skills

                     Excellent written & verbal communication skills, analytical skills & Business thinking.

                     Achieves performance goals and objectives in line with the team strategy.
