We run an automated verification process by cross-referencing your provided data with authoritative data sources. If student status cannot be verified instantly through these sources, you may be requested to upload a document that will proof your student status to make a final determination.

If you can't see your school in the dropdown list, you can send your school details (name, address city and country) by filling out this form.
After verification, your school will be added and you will be notified by email.
The 3DEXPERIENCE For Students offers are all powered by the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, which is why you can’t find the desktop versions you were used to playing with. But don’t worry, you’ll find all your favorite software in our new package!
CATIA is now embedded in 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA FOR STUDENTS and SOLIDWORKS in SOLIDWORKS Cloud Apps for Students. You’ll also discover new functionalities to take your projects to the next level!
It should be an official document/letter from the institute. The best document to upload is your student Identity card with:
- your firstname, lastname and date of birth
- the name, city and country of your school
- what you are studying
- the start date and end date of validity

It means you did not upload the document required to prove your student status. This document is mandatory to validate your student status.
To upload it you need to redo the buying journey, from the selection of the Student Offer you are interested on to the Payment. Since the validation process is still in progress you will be requested to upload the document.

You are requested to upload a document that will proof your student status to make a final determination.
The verification process will stay on hold and your student status will be not validated. You will be reminded by email to upload your document up to 3 times.
If you fail to complete your student verification within one week, you will have to restart your student verification process during a new purchase.
You will be notified by email if your student verification fails and the reason for rejection. You may retry and verify your student status by taking action requested in the email.

You can make upfront payments using credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, Amex, UPI).
If the role/offer you want to purchase is available for purchase online in your country, you will see a buy button that you can just click on. You can then simply add the role/offer to your cart.
You will need to log in or create an account to finalize your purchase. If the role is not available for purchase online, do not hesitate to contact us and we will reach out to you directly with other options for purchasing the roles you want.
We propose yearly subscription for students.
Subscriptions are defined for a full period from start date to end date, with payment required upfront by card (or bank transfer for Companies).

Student offers, are non-renewable yearly subscriptions
Here are possible options:
- Your country is not listed in the billing address page. Please go to “I don’t see the prices in my local currency”
- You have entered your card number and you get a purchase failure message. Your bank might have rejected the purchase so please try with another bank card. If you still have the issue, you can contact us by filling up this support form.
For Yearly and Quarterly subscriptions, we currently have a 15 days cancellation policy. If you submit your cancellation request up to 15 days after your purchase, we will cancel and refund your order. This policy however does not apply for trial offers, monthly subscriptions or quarterly and yearly renewals.

Getting started & Installation
According to the student offer you purchase:
- SOLIDWORKS Cloud Apps: SOLIDWORKS Cloud Apps for Students is fully operational from a web-browser.
- 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA: 3D Innovator is fully operational from a web-browser. 3DEXPERIENCE CATIA Student solution requires installation on your Windows machine, it will not work on a virtual machine and on Mac OS.
- 3DEXPERIENCE ENGINEER: 3DEXPERIENCE ENGINEER Student solution requires installation on your Windows machine, it will not work on a virtual machine and on Mac OS.
This offer is for personal use only, not for classroom. We have dedicated offers for classroom learning and your teacher can visit our dedicated webpage, to find out more.

Please refer to your Get Started email to access the 3DEXPERIENCE platform. This will give you access to your apps. We recommend bookmarking the platform link to find your way more quickly.

The "Get Started" email can take between 2-10 minutes to be delivered. If you still haven't received it after this time period, please follow these steps.
- Check Your Spam/Junk Folder: Sometimes, emails can mistakenly be filtered into these folders. Make sure to check there first
- Verify Your Email Address: Ensure that the email address you provided during registration is correct. You can update your email address if needed and resend the verification email.
- Wait a Few More Minutes: Occasionally, email delivery can be slightly delayed. Give it a few more minutes to arrive.
- Submit a Support Inquiry: If you still haven't received the email after following the steps above, please submit a support inquiry here.
We advise you to keep your Get started mail which you will receive at the beginning of the purchase of your offer. This will give you the link to reconnect to your 3DEXPERIENCE platform.
Please follow these steps:
1 - Login to 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
2 - In the top right of the services menu bar, click on the “Content” icon
3 - Click on the Gear icon Install option when prompted
4 - Allow the installer to launch
5 - Install 3DDrive
6 - At the end of the installation, it prompts you to define the folder for the physical location of the 3DDrive on your computer
The installation is complete and 3DDrive is ready for use.
Usage
You will receive a “Get Started” email with the direct link to access your 3DEXPERIENCE platform on the Cloud. It will also give you all the necessary information to have your first steps on your environment.
You will be invited to connect into your environment with your 3DEXPERIENCE ID.

Welcome to the 3DEXPERIENCE platform! The most important part of the platform is the compass. It is your door to all the 3DEXPERIENCE platform has to offer you: apps, experiences. Click on it and access your roles and apps.

Yes it is automatically updated and already included in your subscription.
On the Upgrade/Update day, you will be informed by email about the operation status. Two communications will be sent, one at the start of the operation and one at the end of the operation.
All the information will be available on the 3DEXPERIENCE Live Status.
Your data is saved on the Collaborative Space which is a cloud storage. You can search for it using the Search Bar on the Top section of the screen.

The Offline Mode allows users to work on the 3DEXPERIENCE platform without an internet connection, when travelling, or if internet connectivity is unstable.
- Launch the 3DEXPERIENCE platforom with the active internet connection.
- You need to specify content for offline use. Add your content to the Favorites list. Next click on My Offline Content. Right Click on the content and click Add to Offline Content. If a green mark appears on your content, your design is available online.

- Check your Spam or Junk Mail folder: Sometimes, emails from new contacts can be filtered out by your email provider.
- Ensure that your email address was correctly registered: Mistakes in email registration can prevent you from receiving the necessary communications.

- If you have just purchased your license
A few moments after your purchase, an automatic email is sent to you with a personal link to log in.
If you did not receive it please check your junk email.
If you cannot find it, please try to log in using this appropriate link:
- For Makers: log in using this link
- For Companies: log in using this link
- For Student: log in using this link
Please make sure to log in using the same email address as the one used to complete your purchase.
If It does not work, please follow those steps:
- Open Google Chrome & go on the log interface using the appropriate link above.
- Go to settings to clear the cache and then close the window.
- Open Google Chrome using the incognito mode.
- Try to log in again.
If you still facing issues please fill in this form and select the category "First Access".
- If it has been a while since you subscribed
Your license might have expired. Either because your billing information was not up to date or because you did not have sufficient funds on your credit/debit card.
If so, please renew your subscription from the store.
If you have been charged and you still do not have access to your environment, please fill out a form & select the "Access to the platform & Login issues" category.
Your data will be deleted from our servers 2 weeks after your subscription ends. If you are still within that timeframe and wish to retrieve your data, please submit a contact form and select "Other" as the issue category.
