With Energy Experience, Dassault Systèmes offers the public an immersive augmented reality experience to unlock the hidden potential of their environment.
Within an intuitive web app, 9 sustainable energy innovations are showcased around Parisian landmarks. Parisians and visitors alike are invited to embark on an adventure to discover these augmented reality experiences hidden throughout the city. These experiences illustrate new methods of energy production and consumption inspired by nature. At the end of the event, a prize draw will take place, giving each participant a chance to win various prizes, including Ellipse electric bikes.

Sustainable energy is energy we can use today without harming the planet or using up resources that future generations will need. It focuses on protecting the environment while meeting our energy needs. Renewable energy, like solar or wind, comes from natural sources that replenish themselves. However, not all renewable energy is always sustainable. For example, using too much wood as fuel (biomass) can harm forests and ecosystems, making it less sustainable.
Here are the main types of sustainable energy:
- Solar Energy: Uses sunlight to create electricity or heat.
- Wind Energy: Turns wind into electricity using turbines.
- Hydropower: Generates electricity from moving water in rivers or dams.
- Geothermal Energy: Uses heat from under the Earth’s surface to provide power or heating.
- Biomass Energy: Creates fuel or electricity from plants, crops, or waste.
- Ocean Energy: Captures energy from waves and tides.
These energy sources are clean and help protect the planet.
