Assistant Manager- Taxation

Role description & responsibilities-:

1.       Management of routine compliances of Direct Tax-: Viz. TDS, Advance Tax, Equalization Levy. Advisory of withholding tax

2.      Management of annual Statutory Audit -: Viz. Statutory Audit-Tax related reporting (Current & Deferred Tax, Books/Tax reconciliation, Contingent Liabilities) & coordination with Internal Finance & Auditors to ensure closure by due date

3.      Management of annual compliances on Direct Tax-: Viz. Tax Audit, Transfer Pricing Audit with coordination between Internal Finance & Auditors to ensure closure by due date

4.      Management of Income Tax Returns-: Preparation of Tax Computations, Review with consultants & filing the same to ensure closure by due date

5.      Support on handling Direct Tax Assessments & Appeals to ensure closure by due date. Tracking notices on the portal & uploading response

6.      Reviewing GST Compliances (Returns & Refunds) & assisting in handling correspondence with Tax Office & Litigation

Qualification-:

1.       CA (Chartered Accountant), CMA (Cost & Management Accountant), MBA-Finance 

2.      3-4 Years Experience in managing compliance of Direct & Indirect Taxes

3.      Experience in assisting assessment/ appeals under Direct Tax

4.      Good knowledge of Direct & Indirect Tax

5.      Basic knowledge of double taxation treaties
