Role Description & Responsibilities

The SIMULIA IPS Infrastructure, Energy and Materials team specializes in the development of industry process digital solutions for energy industry including oil & gas, renewable energies and mining using Dassault Systemes virtual twin technologies.

As an intern on this team, you will work with experienced engineers with broad industry knowledge, to enable workflows to be applied on new industrial use scenarios, develop first of a kind solutions and contribute to the creation of product presentations and demonstrations. This internship focuses on mining applications of geomechanics simulation, with emphasis on SIMULIA and GEOVIA integration and creation of high quality go-to-market (GTM) material.

· Implement workflows, leveraging and extending our geomechanics capabilities to support energy transition.

· Participate in the creation of mining solutions involving SIMULIA and GEOVIA.

· Working as part of the SIMULIA IPS Infrastructure, Energy and Materials team.

· Create GTM material, using free IP models, to demonstrate solutions to industry problems focusing on business value.

Qualifications

• Strong background in numerical modeling, simulation, and non-linear finite element analysis

• Proficiency with programming languages for numerical analysis

• Experience with geomechanical analysis is a plus

• Ability to take direction and guidance from others in a positive manner

• Ability to adapt and develop best practices and navigate around obstacles creatively

• Possesses strong English communication skills

• Possesses strong presentation and documentation skills

Compensation for the role will be commensurate with experience. The total expected compensation range will be between $23 – $40 per hour.
