Role Description & Responsibilities

As a member of the Industry Process Consultant team, you will help High Technology customers solve complex structural and thermal challenges with SIMULIA realistic simulation solutions on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform. You will be a trusted technical advisor to customers, working closely with Sales and R&D to turn industry needs into winning solutions.

In order to support the growth of Dassault Systèmes, your responsibilities include the following:

Provide pre-sales and post-sales technical support, developing Proof of Concepts (PoC) and delivering technical presentations and demonstrations with SIMULIA solutions
Lead customer engagements from a technical perspective, using a consultative approach to understand customer simulation needs and translate them into effective workflows and solutions
Carry out consulting projects with Abaqus for High Technology applications such as server structure and thermal simulation, package simulation and PCB analysis, independently from model building to results communication
Develop industry-specific simulation workflows and best practices for the High Technology industry, and share them through technical articles, case studies and events
Train customers and partners in the use of SIMULIA products and the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform
Identify technical opportunities to expand 3DS’s business footprint, working closely with Sales and Brand teams
Lead virtual teams across the organization and regions, coordinating resources to deliver customer projects
Share customer and market feedback with R&D, and continuously master new product features, multi-physics technologies and industry workflows

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, or Materials Science and Technology, with solid knowledge of structural mechanics
At least 5 years of hands-on Abaqus experience, with proficiency in Abaqus/Standard and Abaqus/Explicit for linear dynamic and nonlinear simulation, and familiarity with the selection of elements and material constitutive models
Knowledge of Abaqus customization (GUI customization and user subroutines) and HPC parallelization, including SMP and DMP
At least 5 years of experience in structural simulation or related software development and deployment, and familiarity with other CAE tools such as Ansys Mechanical, LS-DYNA and Nastran
At least 5 years of simulation experience in the High Technology industry, with the ability to independently complete projects such as server structure and thermal simulation, package simulation and PCB analysis
CAD design experience (CATIA V5, Creo or SOLIDWORKS) is a plus; experience with the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform in both design and simulation is even better
Consultative selling skills and strong business sense, with the ability to prepare, engage and deliver efficiently, including the use of AI tools to support customer engagement; experience leading virtual, multi-cultural teams is preferred, and people management experience is a plus
Good communication and negotiation skills; English is mandatory in addition to Chinese, and a second foreign language, especially French, is welcome
Flexible work model with business travel: day trips within Taiwan, and international trips typically under one week
