Data Scientist Planning & Scheduling
We are looking for a Solution Consultant based in our Rome office within the Services function, whose mission is to deliver innovative Planning and Scheduling IT solutions to customers.
The role will be dedicated to DELMIA Quintiq, an application suite that enables our customers to solve the most complex puzzles in planning and scheduling, providing an impressive portfolio of functionalities and optimization solutions.

Role and Responsibilities
- Understand how the products fulfill the business needs. The Solution Consultant contributes to increasing the deal size, accelerate deal signature, secures successful go-live
- Being the communicative party leading the aligning between our programmers, algorithm experts, infrastructure consultants, and the customer
- Contribute to the execution of the activities and deliverables, according to the different project phases
- Articulate value, identifying & mapping the customer’s requirements, their impact on the business processes, KPIs and KVIs.
- Validate and test whether configured functionality is in line with customer requirements, processes, and expectation
- Provide functional support to the customer on our solutions during development and in daily operation.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's in Informatics, Management Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields
- Proven experience as Data Scientist or Solution Consultant role in the Operations Planning and Scheduling domain and within international context
- Preferred experience in Master Production Scheduling (MPS) and Detailed Scheduling
- Experience in providing ICT consulting advice and proposing ICT solutions to business problems
- Working experience within IT project delivery lifecycle
- Previous experience of workforce and transportation planning would be beneficial
- Ability to analyze data, business processes, production processes for improvement (ICT field)
- Fluency in English and Italian (both written and spoken)
