This document describes how to configure an F5 (BigIP) appliance as both a reverse proxy and load balancer for a 3DEXPERIENCE platform deployment. Whether for scalability, high availability, or both, the ability to have multiple (redundant) instances of a single application or service is requisite for any critical IT business application. The scope of this document is to provide settings for F5 Virtual Server (VIP) configurations specific for providing load balancing or reverse proxy services for 3DEXPERIENCE platform service endpoints.
