Three new VAR agreements with leading business solutions companies

Singapore, November 17, 2008 - Dassault Systèmes, a world leader in 3D and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solutions, today announced the appointment of three new companies, Harmony Ltd, IMAG and Cambridge, to their value-added reseller (VAR) programme.

According to Gilles Cruanes, Vice President, PLM Sales & Distribution, South Asia, Dassault Systèmes “we have been working constantly this past year to expand our partner network and reach. With the appointment of Harmony, IMAG and Cambridge, our value added reseller programme is enriched with companies that combine the knowledge and contacts within their local markets with a comprehensive appreciation of our technology solutions.”

Dassault Systèmes develops and markets PLM application software and services – creating software that provides a 3D vision of the entire lifecycle of products, from conception to recycling, and opening the door to global collaborative innovation. Dassault Systèmes will work with these new VARs to improve market efficiency and customer reach in the rapidly growing Asia-Pacific region.

Harmony Ltd, a Vietnam-based company, is a leading specialist in supplying solutions, high quality software products and services for the public sector and private enterprises. Harmony is currently an authorised dealer for Microsoft, Oracle, Primavera and MapInfo.

IMAG, a solutions provider in Ebusiness, supply chain management and Emanufacturing, has eight regional offices in the Asia-Pacific. Dassault Systèmes is partnering with the Australian branch, which sells, supports and implements a variety of products that are used in the PLM realm.

Cambridge has a strong presence in the Asia-Pacific region with nine offices offering business process outsourcing and IT solutions. Dassault Systèmes is partnering with the Singapore office and will utilise Cambridge’s expertise in knowledge-based processing and their strong onshore presence in the consumer’s home country.

Dassault Systèmes, Harmony, IMAG and Cambridge all share the goal of creating technology solutions that will increase their customer responsiveness and reach. These new relationships will greatly improve the PLM value chain and act as a win-win for both the companies and the customers.

“This is a very exciting time for Dassault Systèmes. The Asia-Pacific region has endless opportunities as it continues to mature in 3D PLM technologies. With our three new partnerships we are given the opportunity to attack these new segments and continue our leadership in the PLM market,” said Christian Nardin, President of Dassault Systèmes Asia.

Bernard Charles, President and CEO of Dassault Systèmes, was in Singapore today to welcome aboard these new VAR’s and review Dassault Systèmes’ presence in the Asia-Pacific region.
