Transforming Current View

You can perform simple spatial transformations of the current view.

This task includes the following subtasks:

Zoom

Zooming enables you to move closer to the documents that you are viewing or to move further away.

  1. Click Zoom In Out and drag upward.

    You move closer to the content of the viewer.

  2. Click Zoom In Out and drag downward.

    You move away from the content of the viewer.

Tip: You can use the following shortcut to zoom interactively:
  1. Press and hold the Middle Mouse button.
  2. Click the Left Mouse button.
  3. Release the Left Mouse button.
  4. Drag the pointer upward to zoom in or downward to zoom out.
  5. Release.

Pan

Panning enables you to move transversally across the viewer.

  1. Click Pan .

  2. Press the Left Mouse button and drag the pointer to the left or to the right.

    Your eye moves transversally left when you drag the pointer to the right or transversally right when you drag the pointer to the left.

  3. Release.

Tip: You can use the following shortcut to pan interactively:
  1. Press and hold the Middle Mouse button.
  2. Drag the pointer vertically or horizontally.
  3. Release.

Rotate

Rotating enables you to turn your documents around the vertical axis or around the horizontal axis.

  1. Click Rotate .

  2. Drag the pointer vertically to rotate the eye around the horizontal axis or horizontally to rotate the eye around the vertical axis.

    The eye is rotated accordingly.

Tip: You can use the following shortcut to rotate interactively:
  1. Press and hold the Middle Mouse button.
  2. Press and hold the Left Mouse button.
  3. Drag the pointer vertically or horizontally.
  4. Release.

Fit All In

Fitting all in viewer enables you to reframe the entire set of parts to fit in the viewer and to simultaneously maximize the use of the viewer space.

  • Click Fit All In .

    The entire part or set of parts is reframed to fit in the viewer.
