Dassault Systèmes’ commitment and performance to sustainability are recognized externally, as testified by the ratings and rankings below. We are committed to perform better year after year to meet our global Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) management objectives.
We are proud of the recognition we’ve earned and aim to continually improve our sustainability impact.
In 2024, Dassault Systèmes confirmed our ranking in the MSCI ESG Ratings assessment, reaching for the second year in a row the leading position with a ‘’AAA’’ score. The MSCI ESG Rating is designed to measure a company’s resilience to long-term, industry- material ESG risks. MSCI ESG Ratings range from Leader (AAA, AA), Average (A, BBB, BB) to Laggard (B, CCC).

In 2024, Dassault Systèmes was confirmed as a member of the Dow Jones Sustainability World Index, which tracks the performance of the largest companies leading the field in terms of sustainability. Dassault Systèmes figures within the top 2% of global software companies responding to the S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment marking a major advancement.
In 2024, Dassault Systèmes again reached the top 1% of all companies assessed by EcoVadis for each of four assessed domains: environment, labor & human rights issues, ethics and sustainable procurement. Dassault Systèmes’ score ranks in the 99th percentile rank, which earns us the achievement of Platinum medal, the highest level possible.
In 2023, the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), a global non-profit organization that runs the world’s leading environmental disclosure platform, again awarded Dassault Systèmes a "B" ranking for addressing the environmental impacts of our business and ensuring good environmental data management.
In February 2024, Dassault Systèmes was assessed by Sustainalytics to be at low risk of experiencing material financial impacts from ESG factors. Founded in 1992, Sustainalytics, a Morningstar company, provides analytical ESG research, ratings, and data to institutional investors.

In 2024, FTSE Russell (the trading name of FTSE International Limited and Frank Russell Company) confirmed that Dassault Systèmes has been independently assessed according to the FTSE4Good criteria that measures the performance of companies demonstrating specific Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. Dassault Systèmes has satisfied the requirements to remain a constituent of the FTSE4Good Index Series.
Created by the global index provider FTSE Russell, the FTSE4Good Index Series is designed to measure the performance of companies demonstrating strong Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices. The FTSE4Good indices are used by a wide variety of market participants to create and assess responsible investment funds and other products.
Dassault Systèmes ranked 16th out of 29th in the Information Technology sector among the 2024 Carbon Clean 200, an increase of three ranks over 2023. For many years we have been consistently recognized as one of the world’s 200 most sustainable companies in terms of “cleaner revenue”. Our software provides a positive impact by helping our customers go green in their operations and the broader economy.
In 2023, and for the 12th consecutive year, Dassault Systèmes ranked in Corporate Knights Top 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World, coming in at #20 and obtaining an overall rating of “B+".
In 2023, Dassault Systèmes reached the top 1% of all companies assessed in the software sector by Institutional Shareholder Services’ (ISS) ESG Corporate Rating.
Prime status is awarded to companies with an ESG performance above the sector-specific Prime threshold, which means that they fulfil ambitious absolute performance requirements.
